Dr. Yun, chief economist and senior vice president at the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®, will speak about the economy and the housing industry from both a national and local perspective.

Steve Donahue, a motivational speaker and experienced presenter, attempted to cross the Sahara Desert overland as a young man. The Victoria, British Columbia native will discuss the “Rules of Desert Travel,” and how they will help us succeed in our own times of transition.

Mayor Phil Bandy is a native of Southwest Idaho and grew up in Boise. During his 17 years of work in state government, Mr. Bandy gained broad knowledge of governmental affairs and administration at the local, state, and federal government level as well as knowledge of and participation in the State's legislative processes. Mr. Bandy was elected Mayor of Eagle on December 4, 2007.

Pam White has lived in Nampa for 15 years. She was in the banking industry for seven years. After leaving a management position with Home Federal, she got her securities and insurance licensing.

After taking office in January 2004, Meridian Mayor Tammy de Weerd immediately went to work implementing priorities. Tammy and her leadership team have established policies and initiatives to improve the quality of life for all Meridian residents.

Jared D. Fuhriman was born in Ogden, Utah and has lived in Idaho Falls since the age of nine. Prior to being elected Mayor of Idaho Falls in 2005, Jared served 18 years with the Idaho Falls Police Department, achieving the rank of Lieutenant.

Bob Uhlenkott is the chief research officer for the Idaho Department of Labor and has been with the department since 2000. He manages the department's research and analysis unit, which is responsible for several federal and state research and survey programs.

Elwood I. Kleaver, Jr. is an insurance and management consultant with over 30 years executive leadership experience in the managed care industry, specializing in turnaround activities and strategic direction.

Mike Ferguson is currently the chief economist in the Division of Financial Management, Executive Office of the Governor, State of Idaho. His major responsibilities include economic and revenue forecasting and monitoring, tax policy development and analysis, and managing the Economic Analysis Bureau within the Division of Financial Management. He has held that position since August 1984.

Randy Shroll has been with the Department of Commerce 23 years. In his current position as business development manager, his responsibilities include business retention and expansion, the Idaho Economic Development Rural Professionals Program, and the Growth Management Program.

Renee Radcliff Sinclair, the Northwest Regional Director of Congressional and Public Affairs for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, is leading the organization's effort to expand and strengthen relationships with Chamber member businesses, associations, and chambers of commerce throughout the Northwest. She will discuss the Secret Language of Advocacy.
